These terms apply to every enquiry, quotation and supply made through IronBazaar, the online counter of Prem Strips. Placing an order means you accept them.

Prem Strips, a steel stockist at Plot No. 1, Kh. No. 38/25, Bawala Road, Shahabad Daulatpur, Delhi 110042. GSTIN 07AADCP1791M1Z1.
IronBazaar is our trading name online. Any contract for supply is with Prem Strips.
Rates shown on the board are the morning's ex-yard rates and are not an offer. They change with the mill and can change during the day.
The rate that applies to your order is the one confirmed on the phone. Once confirmed it holds until 6 PM the same working day, unless we tell you otherwise at the time.
Every rate on this website is quoted per tonne, before GST. The estimator is a working figure only. It is not a quotation, a bill of quantities, or a design. Steel actually required depends on your engineer's drawing.
Submitting the form is an enquiry. It does not create an order and does not reserve stock.
An order exists only once we have spoken, agreed the rate and quantity, and issued a proforma or tax invoice against it.
We may decline any enquiry, including where stock is unavailable or the delivery location is outside our area.
All rates are quoted exclusive of GST. Steel is taxed at 18% and appears as a separate line on the invoice.
Bars, sections and binding wire are all priced per metric tonne.
You will receive a GST tax invoice carrying HSN codes for every supply, whether or not you have a GSTIN. Input credit is available only where you supply a valid GSTIN before the invoice is raised.
Payment is by RTGS or NEFT against the invoice. Bank details are sent with the bill.
We do not take payment on this website and will never ask for an advance before you have seen an invoice. Anyone asking you to do so is not us.
Material is dispatched after payment reflects in our account. Cheques are accepted only from firms we have supplied before, and are treated as paid on clearing.
Credit, where extended, is at our discretion and on terms agreed in writing for that order.
Steel is sold by weight, not by piece or length. The weighbridge slip accompanying the load is the measure of what was supplied.
TMT bars are supplied in 12 metre standard lengths. Rolling and weight tolerances are as permitted under IS 1786 for TMT and the relevant IS specification for sections.
Section weights shown on the website are nominal. Actual weight varies by mill and is billed as weighed.
Rates are ex-yard. Freight is quoted separately by distance and load size and is billed on the invoice.
Delivery timelines given on the call are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic restrictions, mill delays and transport conditions can move them.
Unloading is the buyer's responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing. You are responsible for ensuring the site is reachable by the vehicle and that labour is available. Waiting time beyond a reasonable period may be charged.
The e-way bill is raised by us on every consignment above the statutory threshold.
Risk in the material passes to you on delivery at the address given, or on collection from the yard.
Check the load before the vehicle leaves. Any shortage, visible damage or wrong material must be recorded on the delivery challan at that time and reported to us the same day.
Nothing raised after the vehicle has left, or after the material has been cut, bent or used, can be entertained.
Material is supplied with its mill tag intact, and with the mill test certificate where the mill provides one. Our responsibility is limited to supplying material as ordered; any product warranty is the mill's and passes to you unchanged. We give no other warranty, express or implied, as to fitness for a particular structure or design.
Material supplied is not returnable. We do not take back steel for change of mind, over-ordering, a change in your drawing, a fall in the market rate, or because the site no longer needs it.
This is standard in the steel trade. Once a load leaves the yard we cannot verify how it was stored or handled, and returned bars cannot be sold on as mill-tagged stock.
Order carefully. If you are unsure of the quantity, ask us on the call before the invoice is raised rather than after.
The one exception is our own error: where we have sent the wrong grade, wrong size or short weight, and it is recorded on the challan at delivery under clause 8, we will replace the material or issue a credit note. That is the full extent of our obligation.
An order may be cancelled without charge any time before dispatch, provided payment has not already been applied to procuring the material.
Once the vehicle is loaded or dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled. Where we agree to accept a cancellation at that stage, freight and handling already incurred are payable.
Cut-to-length, bent or otherwise customised material cannot be cancelled once cutting has begun.
Where a refund is due on a cancellation, it is made to the same bank account the payment came from, normally within seven working days.
The name, phone number, pincode and GSTIN you give us are used to call you back, raise your invoice and arrange delivery.
We do not sell, rent or pass your details to other dealers, brokers or lead aggregators.
Invoice and GST records are retained for the period required under tax law.
We are not liable for delay or failure to supply caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including mill shutdowns, rolling programme changes, transport strikes, statutory restrictions on vehicle movement, and natural events.
Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the invoice value of that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including construction delay, labour standing charges or loss of profit.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi.
